The challenge

Companies in energy and mining can only transact with counterparties approved by their compliance department. The evidence for that approval — company documents, ownership, banking details, sanctions declarations — was arriving by email, in whatever format the counterparty happened to use.

Three companies in the same group faced the same problem, each needing its own branding, its own legal wording and its own mailbox.

What we built

A guided application that first asks whether the applicant is a customer or a supplier, then walks them through the corporate due diligence form with the data-protection notice stated up front.

One code base serves all three companies: the branding, the legal text and the recipient are configuration, not copies. Each deployment has its own domain and its own bilingual interface.

Documents are validated on upload, applications are stored with a submission record, and compliance reviews them from a single place instead of an inbox.
